From Matira Beach to the Open Ocean
Every race starts and finishes at Matira Beach. From 100-meter kids sprints to the legendary 18km solo race around the entire island.
Sprints — 100m to 500m
Sprint races on the Matira lagoon. Beach start, parallel lanes. The 500m V6 is a 250m out-and-back course with buoy turn.
Kids Courses — 1km to 3km
Youth races along the Matira coastline. Buoy turnaround courses in supervised lagoon waters for U10 and U13 categories.
8km Marathon — Matira to Povai
Out-and-back marathon through open lagoon. Departure Matira, northward to the Tautu buoy at Povai Bay, then back to Matira.
V6 Challenge 14km — Toopua Triangle
The iconic triangle circuit. From Matira south to Pointe de Raititi, northwest around Toopua Island, and back to Matira. One of the most scenic race courses in the Pacific.
V1 AITO 18km — Tour de Bora Bora
Full circumnavigation of Bora Bora by V1. From Matira north through Povai, past Vaitape dock, around Faanui pass (relay change zone), past Cardinal Kasanova buoy, and back south to Matira.
